THERAPY FOR TEENS & YOUNG ADULTS
A safe space for teens to talk, understand and move forward
Therapy support for teens and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, exam stress, low confidence, emotional overwhelm, friendships, relationships, identity or big life transitions.
OUR APPROACH
Therapy that meets teens where they are
The teen years can feel intense, confusing and full of pressure. Young people are managing school, exams, friendships, family expectations, identity, relationships and decisions about their future — often while trying to look like they are coping.
Therapy gives teens and young adults a space where they can be honest, feel understood and start to make sense of what is happening underneath the anxiety, stress or overwhelm.
Our approach is warm, practical and collaborative. We do not talk down to young people or try to “fix” them. We help them understand themselves, build tools and feel more confident in how they manage life.
WHAT THERAPY CAN SUPPORT
Support for the real issues teens are facing
Anxiety, panic, overthinking and emotional overwhelm.
Exam pressure, school stress and burnout.
Low confidence, self-esteem and self-trust.

Relationships, boundaries and emotional safety.
University transition, independence and young adult responsibilities.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF
Your teen needs more than reassurance or another pep talk
They seem anxious, withdrawn, overwhelmed or unusually angry.
They are struggling with school, exams, friendships or confidence.
They find it hard to talk openly at home but clearly need support.
You are worried about their emotional wellbeing or resilience.
They are preparing for sixth form, college, university or adult life.
You want support that respects their age, voice and independence.
HOW IT HELPS
Therapy gives teens space, language and tools
Teen therapy is not about telling young people what to do. It is about helping them understand what is happening inside them, notice patterns, build emotional regulation and feel more able to face everyday life.
A safe space to talk
Teens can explore what they are feeling without judgement, pressure or needing to protect everyone else around them.
Practical strategies
Sessions focus on tools that can be used in real life — before exams, during friendship stress, when anxiety spikes or when emotions feel too big.
Confidence and independence
We support young people to build self-trust, communicate better and feel more capable as they move towards independence.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Support that respects the teen’s voice
For teens, therapy works best when they feel the space belongs to them. Parent involvement can still be helpful, but it needs to be handled with care and respect.
Where appropriate, parent check-ins are included so the adults around the young person understand how to support them without taking over their process.
The aim is to support connection, communication and trust — while giving the teen enough privacy and independence to engage honestly.
